MEET THE ARTISTS AND ARTISANS AND DISCOVER THEIR TECHNIQUES

The works exhibited are of professional quality, are all original and reflect the people who have made them and the places where they have been made. Many different kinds of art and craft are represented. This year, ten new members join the 2010 edition bringing with them seven new techniques. The visitor will thus have the opportunity to visit the following studios: textile painting, watercolour, acrylique painting, oil painting, pottery, porcelain, jewellery, fused glass, stained glass, engraving, printmaking, metalwork, sculpture, violin maker, tin smith.

A group show including the works of all the participants is held at the Centre d'Art, Frelighsburg, 1 Place de l'Hôtel de Ville from September 18 until October 11 inclusively, from 10a.m. until 5p.m..

La Tournée des 20 takes place in the middle of the vineyard wine harvest which is an established attraction of the region. Thus, the visitor, while enjoying one bucolic escapade, is also welcomed into the studios of artists and artisans in a charming landscape where art is in harmony with nature.
