For immediate release

At the beginning of autumn 2008,twenty Brome Mississquoi

artists and artisans open their studios and workshops to the public.

For four consecutive weekends,the 27 and 28 of September;

the 4,5;the 11,12,13;and the 18 and 19 of October,from 10:00 a.m.

to 6:00 p.m.,the 13th edition of the Tournee des 20 takes place in the

nine municipalities of the area’s wine region:Dunham,Frelighsburg,

Pigeon Hill,St.Armand,N.D de Stanbridge,Philipsburg,Mystic,Bedford

and Stanbridge East.

The works presented are professional and original and carry the uniquely personal signature of this region.

The range of creations is diverse and includes painting on fabric, acrylic, oil and watercolour paintings, pottery and porcelain, printmaking, woodworking, jewellery, photography and stained glass.

Each year new members are invited to present their work. A group exhibition showcases works from each of the participants and continues for the duration of the Tournee, from September 27th to October 19th inclusive at the Centre d’Art de Frelighsburg, 1 Place de l’Hotel de ville.

The Tournee des 20 takes place at the height of the wine harvest, in a region well renowned for its vineyards and apple orchards. Visitors have the privilege of enjoying a unique personal contact with artists and artisans in a wonderful area of the countryside where art and the beauty of nature share a special harmony.
